The Great Journey Of Damwon-Gaming Gamers To Worlds
Damwon Gaming was first introduced to us at the 2018 Worlds. The majority of
the teams had been talking about Damwon Gaming's young Korean team in scrims and
how they were going to dominate the world at LCK the following year. However,
they didn't perform to the standards of the media over the following year.
Damwon Gaming received a boost in 2019, and qualified for Worlds but their
performance was not great as they were defeated by G2 Esports in the
quarterfinals. They acquired Ghost from Sandbox Gaming this year and their
results were improving with each win. Damwon is only one step away from the
ultimate honour in the "LOL" and also being part of the elite team that has won
the "Summoner’s Cup", but many people are curious about the names of these
players. We will take you on a trip through the past, sharing brief stories
about each of the founding five players. DAMWON Gaming:
Who Are They. DAMWON Gaming is a South Korean professional Esports
team.
DAMWON gaming: who are they? Are you aware of them?
Top Nuguri
In the early days of professional life, Nuguri was a hard-working high school
student who had an obsession with videogames. However, he began to concentrate
more on LOL than his studies. He took part in an internet cafe tournament and
received his first offer to join a professional group and played with IGS for
the entire year. It was there that he caught the eye of Damwon Gaming, who
wanted him to be the starting top laner for their primary team. Nuguri not only
brought his insane skill to the team as well as his lively personality, and one
could not possibly describe the value of that in a professional setting. Nuguri
quickly climbed the ranks in Korean SoloQ and players feared him for his
outstanding laning and team fighting, although despite being one of the top top
laners around the world today, Nuguri is still adamant that he is still
learning. Also, what has changed is his desire and he is more focused than ever
before to be the winner of the Summoner's Cup and become the top player on the
planet.
Jungler: Canyon
Canyon is the only LCK jungler with a pentakill, but the journey to reach
this level was not without its difficulties. Canyon was a member of Damwon
Gaming in late 2018 and was a big part of the scrims kings' era, but playing the
best junglers of the world at the age of 17 and gaining the best of them was
extremely exciting for a youngster. Canyon continued to play the same way in
2019 but slowly others began to notice his strategies and it changed the results
of Damwon Gaming. Canyon didn't achieve the level he expected, but there were
glimpses of his skill and confidence in the Korean community. Canyon was an
excellent beginning to the tournament but Jankos beat him in the final match
against G2 Esports.
Canyon Damwon and Canyon Damwon persevered throughout the year until they got
to the promised country. Their ultimate glory was the revenge they took on G2
Esports last Wednesday in the semi-finals. Canyon beat every jungler who he
defeated last year and Suning Gaming is the only factor that is keeping him from
winning the Summoner's Cup.
Mid: Showmaker
Showmaker could be the most athletic player on the team, and you can tell
that in his interviews. Showmaker responded to a question about how important he
was to the team's success. He stated, "I feel like I get carried away regardless
of how much I win or lose. It's not easy for 20-year-old players to keep the
expectations of thousands of fans who cheer on them each week, however Showmaker
was able to make that his reason to be successful. Showmaker is respected by the
entire team and often refer to Showmaker as the most vocal player. But,
Showmaker has frequently spoken about his doubts about himself.
Showmaker said in an interview earlier this year that he is the best he's
ever had. However, he later stated that he thinks things like: "What if I get
solo killed tomorrow?" G2 Esports were in the forefront of Showmaker's thoughts
all year long and he often mentioned that he wanted to get revenge for the last
year's loss and when they won last week, we saw how content that he was.
Showmaker would constantly send out emotes and even stole G2 Esports post-game
celebration to demonstrate that he isn't willing to accept any disrespect
towards his team or his region. This week we will see an entirely new Showmaker
who's much more comfortable and confident with what has happened in the past as
his sights are to the future. On handleveled.net you will be able to find the
detail answer of DAMWON gaming: who are they.
ADC: Ghost
Ghost is possibly the most improved player of the year. But, more importantly
to his teammates, he is the joker of the group. Ghost is a hilarious comedian
and loves to have a good laugh. He joked with a casual grin about his goals for
the season in the middle of the year, and stated that they'd be able to win
eleven consecutively to guarantee their spot in the finals. Damwon Gaming was in
urgent need of this. Ghost was the perfect player to fill that space.
Ghost's ex-teammate and support legend Madlife respects him greatly and has
awarded him the title of scrim-god, in part because prior to 2019 Ghost was not
able to deliver the performance on stage that was expected to perform, however,
this is the year where both Damwon and Ghost conquered their stage fears and the
sky's the limit right now for them.
Beryl Support
Beryl is the primary shotcaller at Damwon Gaming and why shouldn't be? Beryl is the oldest player of Damwon Gaming and has been playing there for the longest period of time. Beryl used to be an ADC however, when Nuclear was brought into Damwon Gaming from H2K, He agreed to share his the time with Hoit as the supporting player for the team. Beryl was always on the sidelines, learning more about his teammates as well as the game itself however Coach Kim was too inconsistent with his team selections and he was never given the chance to demonstrate his ability as a world class support. Under Coach Zefa, Beryl finally got that chance and showed his true potential throughout the year.
